Fine hair
|
Finely-textured hair is genetic - one is simply born with it. If you have enough of it, there is nothing to be concerned about. In fact, fine hair is usually more elastic and shinier than coarse hair. The difficulty is fine and sparse hair. In such cases, oil and perspiration spread through the hair while you're sleeping so the hair is often flat in the morning. The style loses shape and develops an oily appearance. Plus, perspiration can have a harmful effect on the scalp and hair growth. The solution is simple: frequent shampooing and a program of strengthening treatments.

- Tip
- Well executed chemical processes such as color, bleach or body wave, are often done to gain some extra volume as these tend to swell the hair shaft and make it feel fuller. Shorter hairstyles keep their shape and fullness longer. Products that are rich in proteins will give fullness to the hair.
- CLEANSE
- For a normal scalp and hair, G shampoo is the answer. For dry scalp and hair, use DF shampoo and for normal scalp and delicate and/or long hair, GL shampoo is the choice.
- TONE
- Balance scalp lotion is the choice for normal scalps. Add Aromazone #1 and #2 for dry scalps, and #3 and #4 for oily and perspired scalps. Calm scalp lotion is a good choice for perspired or sensitive scalps, but be attentive to keep it close to the scalp.
- MOISTURIZE
- Mud mask treatment keeps the hair moisturized and in top shape. Intensive in-salon treatments with Repair emulsion and Repair cream are best for needy hair. Energy leave-in strengthener is a must for fine, fragile hair. Use it after every shampoo. Hydrate leave-in conditioner moisturizes the hair without weighing it down.
- DESIGN
- Use Style lotion for more control and hold. Hydrogel gives strongest hold and firmness. Foam conditions, volumizes and gives hold.
